Tia
Tia arrived for rehoming on 20 October 2025. She is estimated to be 2-3 years of age.
The sort of home for Tia
-
No dogs in the home
-
No cats in the home
-
No children under the age of 8 years
-
Access to her own private and secure garden (not shared or communal)
-
Not caged/crated in the home
-
In her last home Tia was not left, so we do not know what she would be like being left alone
Handling
Friendly and loves attention, and may bark at times if she feels she is being ignored! No problems fitting her with one of our temporary harnesses. Can be a bit wriggly, impatient for example when we were measuring her chest/neck. Zero aggression or dominance shown to any of our handlers.
Walks
Some pulling and weaving but nothing over the top. Responds well to her name. She has seen dogs on the walks, but has not been bothered by them. Her walks have been uneventful and easy.
Playing
Likes to play, and enjoys squeaky toys. No signs of possessiveness or dominance during play, and has allowed us to handle toys she has. Also loves to stop and have a fuss and cuddles during play.
Health
Tia has now seen our vet had her 1st restart vaccination. She has a small (12mm) lump on her nose that was tested by our vet and came back as a mass cell tumour. This is being removed on 29 October 2025. The vet also suspects she may have a low grade (2) luxating patella. This does not affect her at all at the moment, but it may do (or may not) in the future.
The adoption contribution is £250.00.
If you adopt a dog from Happy Staffie Rescue you could be entitled to five weeks free pet insurance through Agria (terms and conditions apply).
Further information provided by the previous owner (please note that the person who brought Tia in had had her for about 5 weeks, we have no history for her prior to this).
